Do NOT delete or pause the account

Add an admin user
Go to Account → Settings → Users → Invite User with Owner or Admin role. A trusted person needs access to manage the account and maintain automated email flows.

Review active flows and campaigns
Check Flows for automated email sequences (welcome series, abandoned cart, post-purchase). These may be generating significant revenue on autopilot. Pause only if absolutely necessary.

Export the full subscriber list
Go to Lists & Segments → export the full subscriber list with all profile data. This is a backup — the list is most valuable inside Klaviyo with its engagement history.

Review revenue attribution
Check Analytics → Revenue to understand how much revenue Klaviyo drives. This is essential for valuing the email marketing asset as part of the overall business.
