Our mission

Every person has 160+ digital accounts.
Most families have no idea what to do with them.

Passed Plan exists to close that gap — giving individuals the tools to document their digital life, and giving families the guidance they need when the unthinkable happens.

What Passed Plan does

Three core systems working together so nothing gets lost — and nothing gets exposed before it should.

🔐

Zero-knowledge vault

Store account names, instructions, and digital-asset notes in an end-to-end encrypted vault. We can never read the contents — only you and the trusted contacts you explicitly grant access can.

📋

Platform guides

Step-by-step instructions for closing, memorialising, or transferring 1,800+ digital platforms — from Apple ID and Google accounts to streaming subscriptions, crypto wallets, and online businesses.

Death verification

A careful, human-reviewed process for confirming a passing before any vault access is granted. Contacts must submit official documentation. Nothing is released automatically.

How it started

The first thing that hits you is the sheer number of accounts. Banking, brokerage, crypto wallets, streaming services, social media profiles, email addresses, subscriptions, cloud storage, loyalty programs, online businesses. The average person accumulates over 160 digital accounts across their lifetime — and almost none of them leave any documentation.

The founder of Passed Plan watched this play out up close. Clients and close friends trying to reassemble a spouse's or parent's digital and financial life after they passed. The process was brutal. No one knew which banks they used. No one could find the email that everything was registered to. No one knew which subscriptions were still charging the card. And no one had any idea what passwords existed or where they might be written down.

Business owners made it even harder. When the person who ran the business was gone, the family was left with zero access — domain names expiring, business bank accounts locked, payroll systems inaccessible, client contracts still running with no one to call. The damage wasn't just emotional. It was financial and legal too.

The crypto losses made it concrete. An estimated $1.4 trillion in cryptocurrency has been permanently lost — not stolen, not spent, just gone — because no one documented where the seed phrases were stored. That number is only growing. Every year, more wallets become permanently inaccessible because the owner passed without leaving any instructions.

And the documentation gap is almost universal. Most families have zero records of the accounts that existed, let alone how to access them, close them, or transfer them. The grief is compounding. You're already dealing with the hardest thing you've ever faced, and now you're also dealing with a digital estate that has no map.

Passed Plan was built to solve exactly this. One vault where every account is documented — not passwords, but the information a family actually needs: what accounts exist, which email they're linked to, where the important documents are, and step-by-step guides for what to do with each one. Delivered automatically to your trusted contacts when the time comes, through a verified, human-reviewed process.

No one should have to rebuild a life from scratch. We built the tool that makes sure they don't have to.

What we believe

These aren't marketing principles — they're the constraints we built the product around.

Privacy-first

We designed Passed Plan from the ground up around your privacy. Every decision — technical, product, business — runs through a privacy filter first.

Zero-knowledge encryption

Your vault is encrypted locally before it ever reaches our servers. We hold the encrypted blob, not the keys. Your secrets are mathematically inaccessible to us.

No actual passwords stored

Passed Plan stores account metadata, platform guides, and instructions — never your raw credentials. You decide exactly what your trusted contacts receive.

Radical transparency

We publish our security practices, our data retention policies, and our verification process in plain language — not buried in legal text.
