Notify TD bereavement services

Inventory all TD accounts
Request statements for all chequing, savings, GIC, RRSP, TFSA, and TD Direct Investing accounts. TD will freeze accounts upon notification of death.
Handle joint accounts
Joint accounts with right of survivorship pass directly to the surviving holder. Verify account registration to determine if probate is required.
Close accounts and distribute funds
Once estate authorization is verified, TD will release funds to the estate account. Ensure all pre-authorized payments are redirected or cancelled.
