Freeze all corporate cards immediately
Log into Brex and freeze or cancel all physical and virtual cards. Multiple employees may have active cards. Go to Cards → freeze each one. This prevents unauthorized spending.

Check Brex Cash account balance
If Brex Cash (business banking) is active, note the account balance. This is a business asset. Also check for any FDIC-insured or invested funds.

Review outstanding card balance
Check the current statement balance and any outstanding charges. Brex cards are typically charge cards — the full balance is due. Ensure it can be paid.

Review all employee cardholders
Document all employees who had Brex cards, their spending limits, and recent transactions. This helps identify any unauthorized charges.
