Step-by-Step Guide

Log in to Xero

Go to xero.com and sign in with the decedent\'s account credentials.

Export financial reports

Navigate to Accounting → Reports and export Profit & Loss, Balance Sheet, and General Ledger for all available periods.

Download tax reports

Access the tax-specific reports (1099 summary, sales tax reports) and download them for each applicable period.

Export all invoices and receipts

Download all invoices, bills, and receipt attachments from the account.

Cancel subscription when done

Once all data is exported, cancel the Xero subscription to stop monthly charges.
