Transfer autopay to surviving family
Log in to the Yardi resident portal and update payment information. If locked out, contact the property manager to update autopay on file.
Contact property management
Notify the landlord or property management company. Provide a death certificate and request the lease be transferred or updated.
Document lease end date
Record the lease expiration date, monthly rent, and any early termination provisions.
