Transfer autopay to surviving family
Log in to the AppFolio tenant portal and update the payment method. Contact the property management office if you cannot access the account.
Contact property management
Notify the property manager with a death certificate. Discuss lease transfer, subletting options, or early termination.
Document lease end date
Record the lease expiration date and any relevant termination clauses.
