Export all database collections
Use mongodump or MongoDB Compass to export all databases and collections. Atlas also supports cloud backups that can be downloaded.
Downgrade or terminate clusters
Terminate paid clusters (M10+) or downgrade to free M0 tier to stop charges. Free clusters have a 512MB limit.
Add organization members
Organization → Access Manager → Invite Users. Add a trusted person as Org Owner for full control.
Contact MongoDB support
Contact MongoDB support for estate account closure or billing transfer procedures.
